STILETTO
“Stiletto” is a typeface with a French attitude, inspired by a poster for a French bootmaker. The typeface has extreme line contrast — some of its glyphs are thin and dainty, and some are supported by tall, bold columns. This gives visual weight to the typeface while maintaining a sense of delicacy. This typeface is available for download as an .otf file. View the four steps and the documentation I was assigned with in this group project below.
Designed by Frannie Dreher, Bugz Bhadare-Valente, Layla Urbina, John Ruland, and Scott Shobayo in Fall 2024 at Loyola University Chicago.
